I'm actually surprised I haven't found a thread for reporting HYIPs. Well, If ever you're thinking about joining any HYIP sites- pls don't.
Its been awhile since i actually visited an HYIP site. But i bet you my bottom dollar nothing has changed. These owners of HYIP sites count on ONE THING- human greed (and also who have a hint of naivete'). They reel in these gullible (e.g. me) people with promises of high revenue and once they've invested, give them a taste of the HIGH YIELD rate of their investment, expecting them to NOT remove their invested capital, but to put it back in. Then, when it has been populated by enough like-minded and naive investors- they disappear; with YOUR money in tow, only to start anew using another name.
And if you're an investor in a third world country, you can forget about reporting them and having the authorities do something.
So, save yourself alot of grief. Just stay away...
And next time, when doing any tangible or virtual investment, always exercise DUE DILIGENCE.
